Greater Sacramento Urban League
The Greater Sacramento Urban League pursues a mission to enable African Americans, other minorities

Placer County SPCA
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Placer
County is a nonprofit humane organization whose purpose is to promote,
through education and direct action, the welfare of companion animals.
This is accomplished by reducing the number of unwanted pets, encouraging
the humane treatment of animals, and teaching an appreciation of
the human/animal bond. The Society’s mission is to provide
permanent, loving homes from unwanted and homeless animals, to counsel
prospective pet owners about the appropriate animal species and
breed for their lifestyle, along with proper animal care and special
needs, and to educate the public about the need for spaying and
neutering, responsible pet ownership and vaccinations.

Roseville Arts
Roseville Arts is an active community resource
located in the downtown area of Roseville. Since its inception in
1963, the Center has conducted arts programs and services to encourage
and support the enjoyment, appreciation and growth of the arts in
our communities.
Roseville Arts believes that there is an artist in everyone and encourages
artists of every age and background to participate in its large
and colorful palette of cultural opportunities. We are an active
community resource providing arts education programs, performing
and visual arts scholarships, professional gallery exhibitions of
emerging as well as nationally known artists, international competitions,
gallery and theater tours, art-related sponsorships, festivals and
other culturally related events within greater Sacramento and the
South Placer region. Over 30,000 people annually take part in our
programs, all of which are dependent on a large corps of volunteers.
Though maintaining existing programs is important, RAC recognizes
the critical need to focus on the future of the arts to preserve
and sustain our culture.
Current Programs Include:
- The Art House Children’s Program: established in 1998,
the Art House Children’s Program is designed to provide
a positive, rewarding arts experience to children. Designed “for
kids, by kids” the program supports the idea that there
is no fear of failure – only success happens in the Art
House. The program consists of:
- The Art House Children’s Gallery, Haman House
- Local school tours (field trips) and hands-on projects
- Family Arts Festival
